NHS Prescription Charge Increase – from 1 April

Charges for NHS prescriptions will increase, from 1 April from £9.35 to £9.65 per medicine dispensed.

Patients who pay for their prescriptions and who have 2 or more items per month can save money with a prescription prepayment certificate.

The cost of these will also increase from 1st April but for now the 3-month PPC costs £30.25 and the 12-month PPC costs £108.10. There are several payment options available.
