Prior to a first appointment we will ask you to complete a questionnaire of your symptoms.

With regards to Testosterone, Testosterone is one hormone that becomes depleted in the menopause. It is important for brain functioning, memory, libido, energy and muscle strength and stamina. It can be replaced along with oestrogen as part of HRT treatment. Here at Stow Surgery we already prescribe testosterone for many menopausal women. Please see our testosterone information PDF.

Please be aware that we cannot prioritise menopausal symptoms over people who are acutely unwell. Please be reassured that we understand that queries and concerns are sometimes worrying and we will respond to those contacting us as soon as we are able. Thank you in advance for your understanding.
