Face to Face Appointments at the surgery

Patients arriving at the surgery will be asked to check-in via the intercom which is located by the door at the ambulance bay. The clinician will be alerted to the patient’s arrival and will collect the patient from the door.

There is no need to queue at the ambulance door as everyone has an appointment time and there are multiple clinicians working. Strict social distancing should be observed in this area. If a chair is required please ask although waiting times are being kept to a minimum.

If patients would prefer to wait in their car that is fine, especially in inclement weather. It is helpful if patients can tell the person answering the intercom the colour / make of their car so they can be identified more easily.

Research is currently being undertaken into a suitable canopy / cover for the ambulance bay area.

A reminder that face coverings are also required (per Government guidelines). A simple scarf or bandana will suffice. A box of face coverings supplied by Cotswold Friends, is on the table outside the main doors. A donation of £2 is suggested for these.
