  • Tuesday 28th December – 08:30-13:00

We are hosting drop in clinics for 12-15 year olds on the above dates for 1st and 2nd doses.

Young people must be accompanied by a parent / guardian to give consent.

2nd doses can only be given 12 weeks after the 1st and young people must be 12 weeks from a positive Covid test.

The site will be busy; where possible please do not bring siblings / friends who are not entitled to a vaccine.

Appointments are not necessary for these clinics.

Mr Noel Peter, Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon at Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust explains why everyone should have a vaccine.

The average age of people in intensive care is 60 but people much younger have been seriously ill and died too, with thousands more still suffering the effects of Long Covid after what might have been a mild initial case. If we’ve learned anything from this last year it’s that nobody is really safe. Anyone can get Covid -19, including young people and anyone can spread it.

Getting vaccinated is one of the best things you can do to protect yourself and others around you from the virus, vaccines reduce infections, hospitalisations and deaths from Covid -19.
