Coronavirus Update

Coronavirus is still circulating in the local community.

In most cases people with coronavirus (COVID-19) feel better within a few weeks and you may be able to look after yourself at home while you recover.

The links below provide more information about self care for high temperature and coughs as well as other support that is available.

If you are usually, generally a well person please call the surgery (or NHS 111 out of hours) if:

  • You’re feeling gradually more unwell or more breathless
  • You have difficulty breathing when you stand up or move around
  • You feel very weak, achy or tired
  • You’re shaking or shivering
  • You’ve lost your appetite
  • You’re unable to care for yourself – for example, tasks like washing and dressing or making food are too difficult
  • You still feel unwell after 4 weeks

If you are high risk and are not contacted by the central Gloucestershire team within 48 hours of your positive test please call the surgery (or NHS 111 out of hours).
