The surgery is taking a step closer to “normal” this week.
More patients will be invited to the surgery to be seen face to face. This is predominately the nursing team catching up with reviews for patients with long term conditions.
Most GP appointments will remain telephone / video based although if the doctor feels that patients need to be examined then they will be invited in for a consultation.
All GPs have routine appointments available (some of these are available to book online) and each day there is a duty team. The duty team are responsible for more urgent matters and respond to patient’s concerns the same working day.
