Hypothermia - what to look out for Posted on 1 Mar 2018

With snow and very cold conditions currently across the UK, please remember to check on older friends, neighbours and grandparents to make sure they have everything they need to stay safe and warm.

Ice and snow can make it very difficult for some older people to get out and about. When the weather conditions last as long as they have, this can be very isolating. By popping round or giving them a ring to see if they need anything, you can make a huge difference to their day and wellbeing.

Hypothermia is very real, even in Stow on the Wold in 2018. If you suspect Hypothermia, call 999 and give first aid as described on the link below. You don't have to be outdoors to to have Hypothermia.
