Bourton-on-the-Water Branch Surgery At Moore Cottage Hospital (By Appointment only)

This surgery is available to patients residing in the Bourton/Rissingtons area and is held by Dr Healy every Tuesday and Friday between 2.00 and 3.00pm. Please ring 01451 830805 for an appointment. There is a health care assistant available to take blood and check blood pressures.

There is also a district nurse available on the first Tuesday morning of each month to give injections, take blood, and change dressings.

When you telephone, your call will be answered by a member of the reception staff who can summon the duty doctor. Please give a brief summary of your problem so that this can be passed on to the doctor.

Out Of Hours - Tel: 08454 220 220

When the surgery is closed, a service is provided for patients who need urgent advice and assessment by the countywide out-of-hours system. All calls will be handled by Gloucestershire Ambulance Trust and you may be advised to attend one of the Primary Care Centres or offered a telephone consultation with a doctor. A visiting service will be provided for those in clinical need by Gloucestershire Ambulance Trust.

Most consulting and clinical rooms are on the ground floor and are readily accessible.

Parking

Parking is available at both Stow Surgery and Bourton Branch Surgery.

Casualty

From 8.00am to 8.00pm there is a Minor Injuries Unit at Moreton-in-Marsh Hospital. The closest Accident and Emergency Department is at Cheltenham General Hospital.

In-patient care will be provided for our patients at Bourton and Moreton Hospitals.
