The surgery require a Dispenser to manage their small on-site Dispensary.
The surgery has a list size of 5,500 patients and is only partially dispensing. An average of 2,000 items are dispensed each month.
Experience of working in a dispensary or pharmacy in a healthcare setting is essential as is a relevant dispensing / pharmacy sciences qualification to minimum NVQ2 (or equivalent) level.
Hours will be approximately 30 per week worked across Monday to Friday inclusive.

Summary Care Record
Letters are being sent centrally, during the week commencing 19th April 2010, to all patients registered with the surgery, about the NHS Summary Care Record. The creation of a Summary Care Record is a change to the way that some of patient's health information is stored and managed.

If you decide, after reading the literature, that you would prefer not to have a record created for you then please return the opt out form (available on the NHS Gloucestershire website above) to the surgery. If you believe that you have opted out previously we will have your details recorded however we would appreciate it if you could also complete a new opt out form for this specific project.
If an opt out form is not received by the surgery by 23rd July 2010 then a Summary Care Record will be created for you.
