HOW DO I...
Obtain Telephone Advice?- Tel: 01451 830625

The doctor can be consulted for advice on the telephone if you do not think an appointment is necessary. Please try to call between 8.00am and 8.30am wherever possible.

HOW DO I...
Make An Appointment?

Routine Appointments - Tel: 01451 830805

Patients are encouraged to see their usual doctor whenever possible and to follow through an illness with the same doctor. Appointments can be made at the desk or by telephone.

Please plan ahead, especially if you wish to see a particular doctor on a particular day, as it is often difficult to accommodate such requests at short notice. Appointments can be made up to 6 months in advance.

If you are unable to keep your appointment, or you no longer need it, please let us know as soon as possible so that we can offer the appointment to someone else.

Urgent Appointments - Tel: 01451 830805

Please try to telephone before 10.00am and tell the receptionist you require an urgent appointment. You will either be given a time to attend or a doctor will telephone you to assess the urgency of your call. Please only request an urgent appointment for urgent problems.

If you are in doubt about the urgency of your problem why not telephone 830625 for advice between 8.00 and 8.30am.

Late Evening And Early Morning Appointments

These surgeries are popular with those who work out of the area and find it difficult to attend the surgery during normal opening hours.

HOW DO I...
Obtain A Home Visit? - Tel: 01451 830625

If you are too unwell to attend surgery, please telephone before 10.00am giving details of your problem so that the doctor can assess the urgency of the visit.

HOW DO I...
Obtain Test Results?

The doctor or nurse will advise you of the next steps when you have tests. They may make a follow up appointment to discuss the results with you or ask you to phone the surgery for further instructions. If you are asked to telephone, please do so after 2.00pm, unless otherwise instructed.

HOW DO I...
Register With The Practice?

To register as a patient with the practice, you must be resident within the practice area (see map). When you call into the surgery to register, you will be given a registration form to complete, a practice booklet and an invitation for a New Patient Check appointment in order for us to complete the information we need to summarise your medical history and continue your care. Please try to complete the questionnaire that you will be given and remember to bring a urine sample with you to your appointment.
